    I once tried one of the Chinese foldables. I forgot which one. I loved how thin it was compared to my fold. But when I tried to open it with my big fingers... I struggled :D

            This may be a controversial opinion, but for a fragile device like a smartphone, especially a FOLDING smartphone, I'd appreciate a little extra heft to make the device feel more sturdy and durable. Plus a thicker phone can hold a larger battery.

Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi's first ever foldable phones were also really not that good. For example, look at the Apple Vision Pro. It's a first gen product. And has very many problems which the all first gen products have.

                          Is oneplus open a rebranded Oppo Find N? Yes.

                          Imagine spending more than $1500 for a foldables, only to get a rebranded Oppo with lack of flagship features.

They’re just parroting the marketing. Meanwhile, real OnePlus Open users are having screen breaking and other software glitches. It’s a 2nd tier product with 2nd rate components sold at premium price.

                                      I mean even those YouTubers who were praising it are basically iPhone or Samsung users in their day to day. It’s just marketing. Oppo opened up registration for influencers to apply and get free review unit.
