i don't understand how can Sammy implement the feature of Move to SD when google doesn't allow apps to be moved to external SD in jellybean. Anyway, if somehow they do it then S4 is gonna beat HTC One by a long long way. Just pop in a class 10 64Gb card & put as many apps and data in it.

iush, 06 Jun 2013Any Android phone shows move to do sdcard option. But that... moreGenerally any android device that is compatible with sd cards recognizes them (duh). However, evedentally not all devices allow moving apps to external SD. I know for a fact that brand unupdated S4 does not have such option.

The settings menu layout is different than in most devices and movement option was not there (not sure if it is device/OS specific).

iush, 06 Jun 2013Any Android phone shows move to do sdcard option. But that... moreYou are perfectly right. SD card in android still refers to internal memory (how stupid is that ??). So i am not as sure as you are that this update enables you to move apps to the external memory card. That woud be the only android device with ICS or JB where you can do it, so i am very dubious.

trevorlf , 06 Jun 2013Its 2013 mobile should be 32 gigs minimum 16 gigs do lame.No kidding, did you know they're still selling the new Nexus (with NO externalSD slot) in an 8gig version? Internal storage is NOT too expensive for the manufacturer to add. I'll gladly pay $5 more for the phone if they add $2 more worth of internal memory.

We're still using 2007's 16GB storage capacity in todays phones! This is just ridiculous and "move to sd" isn't practical at all.

I'm still with S2 because of that but soon gonna buy ANY brand that offer me biggest internal storage.

Do you know that to update firmware you need to go to Settings, not pushed to your device silently? Do you have data plan or wifi? If it is too tough for you maybe you should visit the store to help you.

Any Android phone shows move to do sdcard option. But that means it moves from system partition to user partition. It moves to different partition which is named as sd or usb storage.. Generally android recognizes internal storage as sd card or usb storage, and real sd cards as ext sd card.. Even gs2, gs3 and most of those galaxy models have got the move to sdcard option like in HTC.. But this update brings the ability to move to real sd cards..

HDR video that's nothing new. HTC and Sony both already had it in there flagship devices :-/. As for the the memory problem I heard about that. My question is what heck was Samsung thinking? They answer is they wasn't thinking at all. But whatever at least the update fixes these things...I hope
