After the Disco lights gimmick this midranger from a midranger company has hired an actor to boost its image in India. Well it will not work.
They could have done better by improving the quality of devices (plenty of QC issues in devices available in India) and customer support.

Everybody knows that all these celebrities use latest iPhone Pro/Max for personal use. Gone were those days, when people used to buy various products, mobiles in particular, on the basis of such promotions. Specifications and Price are important than endorsements of the phone from some famous celebrity. Instead of paying endorsement fees to them, the sale might have increase if they offer some discount on the phone itself.

NOT the Brand name like you daid - the brand name is thr company and product name irregardless of amy partnership alresfy exissts.
Beand name recognition is how customers associate positive feelings about a brand or its product due to past collaborations, ideal quality, pricing etc that theyve perspnally experience or by strong word of mouth from trusted peers.
This comoany still has a bit to go, partnering woth a celebrity isnt enough. Sales incentives and proper customer service once owning the product is critical!!

Now Nothing..
If a person is not Loyel with the brand for more than 2years ..why you choose him ...there is Number of other stars in india..my opinion Don't use any big stars to promote your products.. better use that money to reduce product cost .. improve after sales & sevice..

And ofc Nothing marketing team isn't dumbass enough to think people would buy phone just because of this actor. ( excellent hardcore fanbois who are in few 100s). Endorsements like these helps to create brand name and popularity. And Nothing had done decent job so far. Their phones stand out, aren't too cheap or expensive, pretty much what OnePlus did years ago. Throw in a couple of ads during IPL season ( crickef sports league) = popularity = profit
