This is actually pretty good. The IPS LCD screen choice is a wise move for artists, it can avoid screen burnout when drawing for long periods of time. The SD 8 gen 2 is fair but i wish it was the latest snapdragon but its acceptable for a tablet. The 3:2 aspect ratio is also nice. The resolution is just good for the big screen, and the 144hz is not necessary but nice to have.
The "profesionally color calibrated" is also great for artists.
One of the standout feature is that you can connect it to an external display, something that i wish my old pad 5 had. I'm also hoping that they would continue developing the pc mode that they previously abandoned.
The 12.4" of screen real estate is the optimal size for drawing in my opinion.
590euros for the 16/1TB model is actually very good. Overall, i think im going to get this.
But does the pad 5's pen works for this tho?

If Google could do it with the Pixel Tablet 2, maybe with a pro variant, and have a 120Hz refresh rate on that display, then sure. If someone else with a relatively stock UI did it, also sure. But I'm not going to be using devices that have the convoluted, unresponsive and overly complicated UIs.

[deleted post]you're also probably the type of person to complain when an OLED screen repair costs like 75% of the value of the tablet. OLED screens should stay on watches and phones & not move to tablets, laptops, and television where a LCD screen repair already costs upwards of $300. For most people, the increase in image quality isn't drastic enough to justify that price.

All this info left one of the most important thing out: is this WiFi only?
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 would suggest it has a modem, but I have a strong feeling it doesn't support 4/5G...

If a tablet that isn't a budget tablet uses an LCD screen in 2024, then the manufacturer is deluded. LCD at this point is terrible and should die already.
