Anton el .PAPI, 23 Feb 2024If they sell 2 it's a lot... Who is going to pay more ... moreThe ROG Phone 7 ranks as the best phone I've bought in a while. I'm looking for international cellular connectivity, battery life, music playback, storage, and reliability. I don't take photos on my cellphone so it doesn't bother me that it has only wide angle lenses. Yes, it's getting updates.
The 8th version loses some of what made the ROG stand above the typical boring flagship that everyone else sells. Will a headphone jack, extra storage, accurate product specifications, and LEDs make people buy it? I might if I had no good phone, but I prefer the 7. I'd miss using the AirTriggers when the phone is locked, and I wouldn't like that massive camera bump.

namzap, 23 Feb 2024congrats for all the 10 people waiting to pre order itWhy buy this when the non-Pro is nearly identical except for some onboard storage and a little more RAM? Oh, and a slightly better LED on the back, lol. For a $400 difference, it's ridiculous to buy the Pro.

Anton el .PAPI, 23 Feb 2024Your comment is contradictory, that's for sure!!! ha ha haThats the idea. Contradictory. I am the 2 brain cell dude who never learnt his lesson with rog phones. I bought it but never would have paid beyond usd1000 but i did give the brand another chance for usd900. Hope it does not turn out to be a piece of crap like my previous rog phone. My experience with rog 5s pro global version was hell thats for sure. Dead air triggers and soon after dead motherboard. Loss alot of money and data for less than 2 yrs of usage

Im one of those few dudes with 2 brain cells!! Hahaha but sure as hell not gonna spend that much of an amount. The global version of 512gb cost usd1200 here and cooler valued at usd110. Contacted a local dealer to buy me the CN set bundled that with aerocooler and flash global rom. Tadaaaaaaaa... All for just usd900. Saved usd400+ And ive compared my phone with my friend with bigger pockets who bought the global version and seperate cooler for usd1310, cant even tell the difference. Except for the tencent logo at the back, and manual firmware update which im more than happy to download on the official website

L.O.R.D, 23 Feb 2024The ROG phone is trying to enter the ultra flagship territo... moreThey still make cheap laptops while phones don't, previous rumors might have been more about the compact Zenfone not existing anymore and them making a Zenfone that simply changed the name from ROG.

The ROG phone is trying to enter the ultra flagship territory but without a considerable OS updates support and proper after-sales support or a wide service network that others in the segment already do provide (Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, BBK) That is going to be difficult for Asus especially at that overambitious price, and a very scarce offline presence for most regions
