Samsung boosts trade-in deals for the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Tab S9 series

23 February 2024
A Galaxy Note 3 will fetch $400 trade-in credit, as will the Note8, Note9 and Note10. Got a Galaxy S7 edge, S9 or S10? That's $200.

Note7 owner, 24 Feb 2024Typical Samsung shenanigans. typical hater shenanigans

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2024How? Those are good deals.whenever they feel threatened, they increase deals. whenever they feel they are in a good place, they offer nothing.

it's just a short term solution for customer rentention. if they win the android market, there will be no good deals going forward. they are only a means to an end.

AlexS, 25 Feb 2024Not all "marketing strategies" have the same bad ... moreNever said about the quality of the product, just a marketing ploy is used. Say/release a product at a price then instantly "discount" it which in reality is the actual msrp of the product (therefore you believe you're getting a discount).

Also with the length of "discounts" samsung offers, literally from release till the next gen of phone, it really shows they are struggling to sell what they manufacture and making decent profit from their flagship lines of products so flagship tablets, phones etc (might out sell other brands but they also manufacture a multitude of more devices that clearly arent getting sold).

Super Android 22, 25 Feb 2024Because from day 1 samaung basically instantly drops prices... moreNot all "marketing strategies" have the same bad quality.

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2024How? Those are good deals.Because from day 1 samaung basically instantly drops prices of all its flagship products, they do this to trick you in to thinking you're getting a better deal than you are. Its like when games drop for £60 but instantly release with a price cut to £40,makes you think you're getting a better deal when in reality THATS the actual price and not a discount. Simple marketing strategies.

They should give $500 for my Galaxy Note 3 since r/LineageOS put Android 11 on it. Considering how they told everyone that Note 3 can't handle Android 6. 🤣🤣🤣
