Genshin has an exclusive deal with Apple for controller support. There are workarounds on Android but they're usually unsafe, and the most safest/legit method of getting Android controller support would be getting a Redmagic phone for their native keymapper.

Honkai Star Rail doesn't suffer from the issue though, all platforms have controller support.

I don't really like the colour. If they really wanted to make a purple coloured phone they shouldn't went with Raiden Shogun over Keqing

design is nice, but the icons.. not a fan.

The only thing they lack is native 120 fps support. What else? I'm waiting for ya answer(s). You didn't mention the high quality graphics PC and consoles provide, why? I don't think a normal person is going to notice the difference between 60 and 120 fps if the performance is decent on both
And why aren't we gonna support it? Android is still the most used electronic device platform worldwide. You're acting so stupid for no reason

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2024I've never played a Genshin Impact. Is it any good? It's a trashy moneygrab that does not respect the cash cows...err...customers who play the game.

The path to endgame might be fun as you explore and do stuff. But the endgame is bottom tier rinse-&-repeat BS that you will run each and every day for randomized items and drops until the next patch drops. And then level up some more, which may be a little fun once again, but then rinse and repeat the established rinse & repeat for new items and drops.

I played this for a few months, saw the horrible drop rates in game and from their "gacha"
and quit before I plonked a lot of money on this thing as sunken costs.

P.S. For perspective, I am a gamer and now a dev who has been playing games from Baldur's gate 1, Warcraft 2 era with around 1k games in my steam library with 200-odd in my epic account. I suggest you try the game till the soft cap, but if you are weak to gambling addition or value your time...don't do this to yourself. Better entertainment options exist.

Okay looks like I failed to arrive in here before people started a war... Ik Genshin Impact has one of the most hated fanbase of all time and some people throw hate on 'the game' without even trying it. Yep it's a gacha game and it's made for wasting your money if you're not patient. Yep it's a waifu and husbando collection game if you're not me. All things have good and bad sides. The side you're gonna get the most depends on how you're going to use it.
And.. well.. Keqing is my 2nd favorite character in the game but I never really wished to get this phone because I just don't need a virtual waifu, that's all.
About the 120 fps on ios: every single app and game existing on the internet is more optimized for ios than android. for ios, the developers have to optimize a game for a handful of chipsets. and for android, there are hundreds of chipsets for them to even be able to calculate how much time and work they're going to need. the fight between ios and android existed, exists and will exist forever. and come on android users, 60fps isn't that bad, we are so much used to it, right? (copium and not copium and the same time)

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2024I've never played a Genshin Impact. Is it any good? From a Genshin player: for fun's sake, you must try it. if you're patient enough, sure. but don't mess up your daily routine and play the game only when you have time to do nothing at all. the game is awesome. but 98% of people use its bad side the most. it has an outstanding lore as a "mobile video game" . but they don't talk about them 😔 they only talk about waifus and husbandos

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2024Lmao. The game that isn't allowed to run at 120fps out... moreJust like people keep supporting Snapchat also, despite their childish fanboyism and deliberate limitations on android devices, despite having a higher user base in the android side. It is embarrassing to see such behavior in adults. Almost as if they stopped maturing mentally at the age of 13 so . . . it is what it is.

For those wondering, the mentality I feel both snap and the developer og Genshin exhibits can be described as this:
"I like iphone better than android phones and I want everyone else to think iphone is better so I will limit the performance of my app/game on android devices so that iphone looks better and iphone users can say their phone is better and some people will as a result of my herioc actions switch to iphone and that warms my heart and makes me become hero I've always knew I could be".

And yes, no punctuation was very intended :p

Sure this "Keqing special edition" will make a huge impact for a lot of Genshin fans...
(Sorry but I had to make this joke)

Looks nice but a Poco X6 Pro has way better performance, also comes with 512GB storage and UFS 4.0 for half the price.

A lot of goodies with the device but gaming phone icons like the ones in the photos is why I steer clear of these phones. 650 USD for 256/16 is meh. I'd expect 512 since storage chips for UFS 3.1 is cheap enough.

Holy shit, the Genshin community is so gonna have a field day with this.

This is a specific demographic that OnePlus knows they have an advantage over.
