I was impressed when i got the update in January month for budget redmi tablet. I have too expensive mobile phones still running android 13, but for this redmi tablet hyperOS came with android 14 very quick, bravo Redmi team.👍

xfrqnx, 01 Mar 2024some of the old devices will stay on A13So much for "HyperOS" then, it's just skin like MiUI. LOL. So yeah, basically MiUI15.

Already received it a few weeks ago and running well so far. The battery life seems to be more or less the same, but it's decent overall. There are a few visual changes from miui.

Two features tho remain missing in hyper OS, just like they were in MIUI 14 i.e SOT count and lockdown mode. I hope xiaomi brings them back

So no more screen on runtime, only device runtime after fully charged.

Practically all Xiaomi flagships can run HyperOS, and even some Redmi phones too - that's because of custom ROM, of course.

now GSMArena needs to retest the battery in this new software if there is a possibility of better battery life. It's also crazy that phones as old as the Mi 10 from 2020 also have HyperOS.
