        It will look really bad if you won't protect it properly, and your only option is a clear case, which may hinder the glyph experience a bit

The (2a)'s 7200 Pro is more of an excuse to mask out the RAM and storage speed shortcomings. Even UFS 2.2 already came into a cheapo Infinix SMART 8.

              The phone is great for the price. It even has 120 hz that a certain fruit phone can't provide, even at thousand dollars

              For €329 this is better than a lot of phones in it's class. It even has 3 OS updates, just one less than Samsung but that's not a deal breaker at all

              Overall the phone 2a is worth the price, and may it exceed the A series in sales 😸

                  Phone itself is good, better than what Samsung might pump out for A55, but not better than 12R.

                  I am salty that US won't get it but again, good phone. The haters are just hating just to hate. 329 euros is amazing

                            First of all, it's not budget. It's mid-range.
                            Second, let's look at the corners being cut. Plastic frame, shiny plastic back that will easily get scratched and smudged, Dimensity 7200 for the price. The upside, 3 years of updates, which can only be bested by Samsung.

                            Now let's look at the competitors at the price range.
                            Samsung Galaxy A54: IP67, glass back, older but longer software updates.
                            Vivo V30: better SoC, larger and higher res screen, probably same camera, and lighter
                            Poco X6 Pro: Much better SoC, higher res screen, higher base storage

                            So the Nothing 2a is actually nothing special. Even the Vivo V30 imo is the better deal, and you can get the Poco or A54 for less.

                                When I bought OnePlus 12R, I had only one worry "what the Nothing phone 2a" will bring...
                                Now, I must say that I made the right choice because after this launch I know galaxy A55 and A35 are not going to bring LTPO4, fast charging, capable chipset and great camera hardware with custom ROM support (if needed).
                                Overall, I made the right choice!! Yay !!
                                All the best for phone hunting guys.

                                  ashrobb, 05 Mar 2024I don't know why some people like to bash on this bran... moreI'll tell you why, I bought Nothing (1), installed nova launcher as I always do with any phone I have and guess what, gesture navigation no longer works fine especially home gesture. What else will I be looking for after that?

                                    I dont get why do they say Nothing phones have transparent back ? I see just few screws and a lot of cover up the inner parts. With this type of transparency i would say all phones with glass back have it as transparent cause under the glass is the paint layer or something. With Nothing phones the under the rear glass is a paint job you see on other phones have.

                                    For transparent back i expect to see all the text on chips and on battery and so on to read off from the parts.

                                    From my point of view Nothing phone transparency is like transparent silicon case you can cover the phone and then say it's see trough. Just like there cables they advertise to be transparent while the transparent part is just a case on white or black plastic that you dont see trough.

                                    They and every phone brand that have there phone box wrapped in plastic can say there pack is transparent cause of the plastic wrapping

                                      I will buy this phone(12gb 256gb), only if there is support for HRR gaming. I play Mobile Legends and my current device is limited to 60fps.
                                      Its still doin fine, but really want to have better gaming experience.

                                      Hopefully this time Nothing didn't locked the games to 60fps.

                                      One more thing, if this phone had 3.5 jack I was ready to pay more, but sadly its nowhere to be found.

                                        I don't know why some people like to bash on this brand. They're worse than Xiaomi haters. I think they're alright, and this phone looks decent.
