It was Microsoft's mistake to seal a deal between the two devils, especially with Amazon. It's universally agreed that Amazon's app store is a very awful experience.
Anyway, people who need near-native Android performance on a regular PC are most likely better off using Waydroid.

Letsgo. This is very annoying installing this kind of WSA trash on W11. It hogs so much RAM everytime restarting the PC, and more stutter in games

Sad. This was the main selling point of Windows 11 when it came out. Next year, all Windows users will be forced to move to Windows 11, getting all of its drawbacks with little of its benefits.
On another point, could I use the Google play games to get non-game apps on Windows? I'd love to use Music Speed Changer on my laptop, as it time stretches and pitch shifts better than anything else.

Good.
Android crap has no place on PC. Get a tablet for your kids or a cheap phone if you care about those games.

Digdigfig, 06 Mar 2024If this means I'll stop getting dumb notifications fro... moreThat is entirely different thing though. While you receive notifications from the Google Play Store promoting their Play Pass, allowing you to play games on Windows, Microsoft is discontinuing support for Android apps which are officially install from the Amazon App Store. totally unrelated to google's Play Pass.
