Hemedans, 08 Mar 2024Man you are so mi's informed 1. Flagship phone used... moreThis is exactly what I highlighted from my previous comment. A55 cores are for efficiency, but still usable enough for day to day use, compared to the A53 cores it replaced. You should've read my comment well instead of coming quickly to conclusions.

Also the processor with the "A1" namesake seems likely to be an improvement on the SC9863A, and if CPU-Z documents a UFS chip, either they have wrong info in their database or it's actually supported by the chipset. Fabrication process is completely unrelated to the type of flash storage.

            1. Flagship phone used those low cores for standby and doing low task, all Those flagship from 2015 had big cores like 2015 you had A57, 2016 had A72, 2018 A73, 2019 A75 etc. All these soc are much more powerfull than that Unisoc with A55 only.

            2. SC9863A1 inside Nokia C32 is an ancient soc manufactured by using 28nm, it's so old and don't support ufs at all. For comparison that 2015 Samsung flagship soc was made using 14nm

it use SC codename because at that time it was known as spredtrum before they rebrand to Unisoc. When people praise Unisoc they don't mean those SC soc at all they mean newer T series soc like T310, T606, T618 etc these do support ufs.

Hemedans, 08 Mar 2024Lol C32 has ufs? Since when? And when people talk about Uni... moreI used the CPU-Z app for reference, and I had bought 2 units for both of my parents in the 4/128GB configuration. The CPU-Z app has been installed on each. It mentions that the phones use UFS, apparently made possible with the Unisoc SC9863A1, but I can't completely ensure that, since it's not documented accurately elsewhere. The noticeable difference in real-life usage compared to the eMMC-based phones is that the C32 is capable of both sending and receiving data at the same time via a wired connection through a computer, whereas an eMMC-based phone would usually show "This folder is empty" during data transfer and an error message prompting the user to wait until the data transfer is completed (as seen on all eMMC phones I've managed to check). The A55-based phones are much usable for day-to-day usage in comparison to models that use only A53-based cores, which sometimes freeze completely during third party apps (especially the Galaxy A03/s, Honor X6a, Vivo Y16 etc).

On a side note, there are much older phones that use older cores than the A55, especially Samsung's flagships from 2015-2019.

And when people talk about Unisoc they don't mean that soc Used in C32 they mean those Good soc with A75 or A76 cores. C32 USED cortex A55 only cores which is as bad as G25, 35,36,p35 etc

The only reason why they seem a bit off-putting to the vocal minority here is the Unisoc chipset, whereas they make up for that with UFS, aluminium middle frames, glass backs (on the C32, in particular) and decent cameras for the price.
