Or did they finally invent the multiDongle? Oh, wait, they did a while ago, it breaks headphone jack functionality, you can't have both at the same time.

Boris Blagojevic, 12 Mar 2024Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds.Oh, I tried those! Sony, Bose, top end models. Sound cancellation is fantastic! Audio quality is crap, though, compared to my wired in-ear monitors that also cost much less.
So I guess I'll wait for a phone with jack.

Nameless, 12 Mar 2024wirelessly, as all people do. Don't be a stubborn caveman. Sorry, no. With wireless I'd sacrifice price/performance ratio, sound quality, convenience and longevity. All that for what, conformity? Too many sacrifices.
I guess I'll keep my phone for now. I was hoping for A55, at last, to get the jack back, but oh well.

I was listening to music via a headphone jack on my A52s just now, while the phone was charging. How do I do that with A55 if it has only one jack for both, charging and sound?

Both models closely resemble last year's offerings. The most notable design changes include a hole-punch camera and a glass back for the A35, while the A55 receives a metal frame. Additionally, both models now sport Samsung's latest design language with the "Key Island" and run One UI 6.1, featuring Galaxy AI features previously thought to be exclusive to Samsung's flagship phones. Despite these improvements, the A35 and A55 retain a similar core design to their predecessors. If saving money is a priority, then opting for last year's model might be a sensible choice.

Samsung is trying to repeat the Galaxy S trend of increasing prices in it's mid-range/cheap A series.
First phone chargers are not included in the box, and now price increases across the board.
They're kicking themselves out of the competition.

Midrange phone crossing €500 price point ??? Noooooo.
Excuses by comparing the other brands which will follow the same pricing strategy is not going to justify it. Nothing Phone 2a seems like a no-brainer choice atm.

Ever heard of the word change? All of these chinese companies have changed big time. For the worse as well, but mostly for the better. I switched from a 2015 Huawei P8 Lite to an iPhone 4S (2011 phone!) that I bought for next to no money in 2017, and even that was a much better phone, then in early 2018 I got a Galaxy J5 (2017), which was such a great phone, that in 2019 I bought myself an S8, which was obviously even better, but then battery life got terrible within a year, so I switched to an iPhone SE (2020) which I regretted in a half a year, so I went back to chinese phones, and I'm still using chinese phones. Compared to my old entry level Huawei, even budget chinese phones have clearly changed for the better, but so did Samsung from Samsung Experience UI to One UI, which is the main reason I won't consider them anymore, I liked the old UI and dislike the new one. This is all just a matter of preference, you prefer Samsung, while some people, including me, don't.
What were those chinese phone that you've used?

For me now, it is either Samsung or iPhone since 2020. Best decision ever.

I have 3 things to say about these:
1. Omitting the mentioning of the MicroSD slot is a disservice. This slot is now so rare in the midrange that it automatically makes these phones stand out from the competition.
2. Nevertheless, the RAM and storage markups are still out of control. 2GB RAM costs $5 and 128GB storage costs $7. These are 400% markups or more.
3. And holy moly the base price is quite high. Nearly $500 for a galaxy A5x series device.
