You can clearly see my Coslight Silver color version of the Zero Ultra on the upper right side of the picture, the Genesis Noir version of it is also there, down to the left from it, but flipped to it's front so that might be harder to recognize. This is an older picture that I took of my collection so the iPhone SE (2020) is still there, I don't have it that phone anymore, instead I have some others, but I'm not gonna get into that. So next time don't even think about spreading false information about me, thanks!:)

I have already proved what phones I own, including the Infinix Zeto Ultra, you can ignore that FACT, or whatever, but your comments like this aren't going to achieve anything.

The article (via) article ACTUALLY states this.
"The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus is positioned as the FLAGSHIP model in the upcoming Note 40 series.
The phone will feature Infinix's in-house FastCharge 2.0 technology, promising rapid charging speeds for both wired and wireless connections.
While specific specifications are still undisclosed, the Note 40 Pro Plus has appeared on certification sites, suggesting a global launch is on the horizon."
@ Eric20
On phones band:
LITERALLY every comment section is hijacked by one prodigious texter near zero knowledge of phones, they ALWAYS introduce a phone they pretend to own (LITERALLY? why not VIRTUALLY) to try to command an iota of relevance.
The sister article on Infinix to unveil Magnetic Charging Ecosystem for the Note 40 series deserves to be "read" omitting the ALL error introduced by this same commentator.
For clarification as NOT in the article if, it you IMPORT a phone launched in another region, or specifically launched / available for that region (China only)
Yes you do have to check the bands
Point in question the Infinix Note 4O Pro is 4G. Here in the UK 5G, 4G with 3G switched off entirelyin 2024. Worst case scenario don't stress I haven't checked! importing a 4G not compatible to UK. 4G with 3G switched off, you have an expensive 2G phone.
Global phones work globally so they can LITERALLY connect and work. You can ALSO have regional 5G phones.
A regional phone MAY work in another region but can in some instances not work on ALL the networks!
On disabling the point is only 'valid' if there is significant price differential between the two countries phone pricing enabling the importer to paid also.
The China Only' phones I have follwed are still significantly more expensive than the launch price in China appearing fixed.
My educated guess is the disabling would also have to be REVERSIBLE BY UPDATE RELEASE (or to be correct enabling) for that region. Ultimately the phone has to be supported by the network in order to receive Android/ Security updates (supported and sold by network are two different things).
Infinix also would have to "supply" the various exporters which wouldn't have volume discounts.
My view is NO disabling of Global phones (QUALIFICATIONS there may be disabling if the launch is in conjunction with one network so the phone only works on that network for a while and not the others which I personally have not come across or tried to discover)
The confusion for reader is because another variable has been introduced into an article which is about 'THE BOX' You responded to a poorly written errror filled comment assuming it were right.

Anyway, yeah... D7020 was an interesting choice and even more if you see how other brands are going full with D6080 and that awful underpowered D6100+. Hopefully they will do it right and bring a decent phone. I'm more curious to see how Pro+ version will be on tests and stuff, because (and hopefully) some phones of the Note 40 line-up might be released here in Brazil.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2024Zero ultra has wireless charging. It does not. I literally own 2 Zero Ultra devices, they don't have wireless charging. According to GSMArena it also doesn't have it.
https://m.gsmarena.com/infinix_zero_ultra-11922.php
I assume what you are thinking of is the modified Zero Ultra PROTOTYPE that had wireless charging, but said phone never went on sale, the actual Zero Ultra did months prior to it.

IgorS, 08 Mar 2024Leakers are guessing that Infinix Note 40 4G and Note 40 Pr... moreThe NOTE 40 Pro 5G one is interesting, as its exotic chip D7020, wating for years that we don't experience D930 powered chip in SEA.
Due to its underrated GPU (IMG PowerVR BXM-8-256) isn't well tested that sometimes may encounter glitches on web browsing and some games (like Genshin since Helio P90/95 was released, but it was fixed after D930 was released). But its GPU is quite better than the Mali-G57 MC2 (from Helio G99/D6100+) in terms of graphical performance on GFXBench. While in Compute tasks (OpenCL/Vulkan) on Geekbench put into poor scores.
All in all, D7020 is usable, despite its GPU isn't that advanced. But it just works, after all if some developers can optimize that GPU.

Anders, 08 Mar 2024The Infinix Note series is basically the same as the Tecno ... moreEspecially on a slim/curved design of that devices, Transsion do not include microSD slot and headphone jack as it is. Other than that on non-curved, flat edged design, I don't think either one or both microSD and headphone jack will be gone if it was on upper mid-range segment. We'll see what it happens

DarlingYext, 08 Mar 2024"Is it not possible to enable LTE/5G bands by going in... moreThere is nothing like bands being physically available. What matters is antenna which are broadband in nature as they can't keep designing new antennas for each region of the world.
The LTE/5G modem inside already supports all the bands in the world. Some are disabled at factory as manufacturers don't want people to import smartphones from abroad at a cheaper price.

Anders, 08 Mar 2024The Infinix Note series is basically the same as the Tecno ... more"The Infinix Note series is basically the same as the Tecno Camon series. Just with slight tweaks to cameras and charging."
More or less. I would agree if it was in 2018, but nowadays, I see that both brands are kinda finding their own way into the game without compromising each other.
Tecno brings more camera inovations, some with hi-end specs in selected phones, Magic Skin, phones with 6000mah or more that are decent. They have their own budget gaming series and are seriously entering in the flagship and foldable territory.
Infinix seems to be on a path to be more like an "all in one" solution with phones that don't necessarly excell in one or two aspects, but brings overall good specs for any task. However, they are including some focus in certain areas, like charging solutions of all kind - including the upcoming proprietary MagCharging and collabs for sound system, like JBL and stuff. They need to refine the post-processing of photos and videos, but since they are adopting stronger chipsets, that also might help.
"Although I will be criticising if Transsion remove the headphone jack and microSD support from the Tecno Camon 30 Pro and Infinix Note 40 Pro after the previous versions had both."
Removing one or both without any compensation is indeed bad. At least a dongle inside the box would be nice. For microSD slot, they could doing phones with more internal storage to compensate.

MannyProPlus, 08 Mar 2024Judging by the curved screen, there will be no headphones j... moreMost probably, D8200. There's a lot of leakers hinting that possibility.
I think Infinix didn't find a way to deal with the heat management of D8050 and decided to go full-force ahead with a stronger chipset instead.
Anyway, both are great chipsets and will do any job with ease.
