That's why I don't want to settle on any Dimensity 700 variants or SD695 variants since they are already aging badly.
I'll try to get the Z9 since I have a lot of vivo service centers in my city and since it's an overall better phone. I just hope the display doesn't give me any issues in the future since someone on twitter told me it's an e4 AMOLED display.

i wonder if itel made phones like this, it would belong somewhere in S24 Pro+ 5G. i would be impressed if this phone came with complete package like 3.5mm dongle and charger. 512GB would compensate the missing sd slot for sure !! or maybe i'd just go for realme 11 pro+

            Samsung's thrown-aways used by others?

This phone has a design that I like, but it seems that most smartphone OEMs are moving away from this design, so I appreciate Lava for sticking with it. It sorta gives me Motorola Edge+ vibes (from 2020).

I also like the lack of a camera island, yet the cameras are still arranged in that triangular layout. It's a nice design choice.

sr777, 10 Mar 2024Cuved edges look outdated, but it could have been better. Outdated for you maybe, I find phones with curved displays nicer looking than phones with flat displays, and I've never experienced any issues with them, so I prefer them. That's that, a matter of preference and nothing else.

This is the first ever impression of an Indian phone here on gsmarena.

Is your objective to respect your budget no matter what?

Then the answer is go 15k

If your objective is the better overall deal then the z9

Also how long do you plan on using the smartphone before buying something else

But if I read into this, you setting a budget this phone looks like the best option for you...

besides that phone use 0.8MP monochrome secondary camera and a pretty low grade 13MP camera which I can't find what the sensors are, it must be as cheap as $3 for both of them
let's not forget that low-end phones were sold in much less profit margin than higher end, that's why cheap phones have ads to compensate

IpsDisplay, 10 Mar 2024But but but the iqoo z9 exists......I'm stuck in this dilemma now. My budget was 15k, do I extend it to 18k to get this phone which is miles better than anything i can get for 15k, or should I extend my budget even more to 20k and get the IQOO Z9 which does everything better (But it comes with an E4 AMOLED apparently?).

For 230 USD, UFS is rare. That's all I have to say. Along with 256GB of storage. You'd be seeing lagfests of eMMC 5.1 and dreaded 4GB of RAM with measly 64GB. Android can take up to 40% of that.

Lava did good this time around. D7050 is no slouch, which was my first impressions of the chip, it being a rebranded 1080. Curved screen breaks easier though, not a fan of that. Fingerprint reader, it being optical or ultrasonic doesn't matter. It's under-display and that's all that matters.

You'd be getting quality 120hz with HDR10+ when A15 5G, same price as 8/128 config, it has 90hz and no HDR. 90hz is appreciated, however. The device also has some good charging speeds (33W vs 25W). 33W delivers 50% in 30 minutes and 100% in 80 minutes. Not the fastest but it's better than slow 10W. Also, there is Dolby Atmos + stereo speakers! A15 5G only has 1 speaker.

If you're in India and looking for your best bang for the buck, Lava Blaze Curve and Agni 2 is defitenly worth checking out.
