Prefer plastic back with metal frame. Glass back is bad.

Before reading - let me guess another giant 7" tablets from Samsung.

              After reading - yup, 6.6".

Come on Samsung! You've been using your Exynos for ages and you don't want to get rid of it?
You even don't mention clearly what the name of your processor is!
                We're sick of it!

Heavy, bulky, expensive, with less features.. as previous models. Samsung decided to follow Apple. Good luck, I'm out

Too big and bulky. A54 is just ok.

No word on when the pair will launch in the US. TheVerge states the new A-series phones will arrive in Europe on March 20th. Prices for the A35 reportedly start at €379 while the A55 will start at €479. We reached out to Samsung to double-check if this is true or not. They didn’t tell us much, however, a company representative did give us some interesting tidbits

They told us the Galaxy A35 will launch in the United States but not the Galaxy A55. There are no plans for now to launch the latter in the US. We prodded the rep for more details. This story will be updated at a later time.

Until then, check out TechRadar's roundup of the best cheap phones for 2024.

Keeping your phone for the next few years is a wise decision. Some people just like having the newest phone out there. I liked my samsung a54 for the little time I had it for, but I was able to return it and I wanna wait to see how the reviews of the samsung a55 are. I feel that it is a god upgrade over the a54.

I bought my samsung a54 back in January. I returned it because the phone got hot at times, so I got a replacement and used that for a few weeks. I had no problems with the a54 at all really. I think it was a pretty decent phone, but I saw that the samsung a55 is coming out soon, so I decided to return the a54 and wait for the a55 to drop. I plan on keeping my next phone whether that phone is the a55 or some other phone hopefully for the next few years. I refuse to pay 1000 plus dollars for any phone, so I wanna get a good solid mid range phone.

Wait, you did not read my comment properly. I did not mean upgrading is bad, but doing it every year is overall. Midranges or Flagships either way.
