                I think samsung peaked at the S10, and apple peaked at the XS, I remember when they were battles with the S10 vs XS, before samsung started to get greedy and increased their prices everywhere, I respect apple for keeping the $1000 pro price tag for 7 years now, I really miss old Samsung, where value was priority.

                  A17 Pro GPU gets bodied by Exynos GPU is wild. Considering how bad Exynos reputation used to be, this is sad lol. Then again, AMD and Samsung did partner up for RDNA 2 graphics for E1480, E2100 and E2400. However, Apple was claiming their GPU can run AAA games.

                    I have used both Samsung and Apple phones and Samsung takes the edge here. My old 2017 phone with 2 gigs of ram, probably LPDDR3 and 16 gigs of eMMC 5.1 storage can run TikTok with middling lag and games and relevant and light 2D games with ease. Ik any device can run MLBB but this thing can at high settings with HD on.

                    My iPhone 6s however, did run TikTok fine but gaming on it was terrible. Couldn't run Genshin for shit, games were all 3D and 2D and were laggy and just overall a nuisance to run. My current 10R, which is miles better can run Genshin and 3D games. 64GB of NvME is fine. Next phone will def be 128/8 or 256.

                    My next phone will probably OnePlus 12R, S23 FE, A55 (if it ever comes to USA) or the awaited Ace 3V/Nord 4 (or 5).

                    Best iPhone to get (if your locked into Apple ecosystem) would most definitely be a 13 Pro. LTPO 120hz, A15 with 5 core graphics, telephoto, excellent photos, 128GB base storage, 6GB of RAM, more than enough for well optimized iOS and many more. Only downside is how closed-source the software is. iOS is a love-hate affair and I'm on the fence about it.

                      No, the iphone 15pro is the phone with worst screen. Doesn't matter what technology they speak out, try buying a 65" 8k OLED tv with some dead pixel or super big hole on the screen, you will eventually understand.

                        Who though it should be the pro vs the S24? Should've been the S24 vs iPhone 15, then things would look more different.

                        That's how it should be, price wise more similar too.

Yeah, I mean not that too many people are cross-shopping a S24 of any variety with a iPhone 15 Pro but to make it more fair, the base S24 should be compared with the base iPhone 15, not the $999 smaller 15 Pro.

                                        Regardless though, these comparisons, they might look obvious on the surface since they are the two most popular phone lines in the market, majority of these two lines' buyers are not comparinng one to the other in their purchasing decision. Majority are loyal or longtime buyer of their respective brand and probably to a bigger extent their respective platform that they are mostly heavily invested in some more willingly/voluntarily than others.

                                        I know literally no one in my day to day surroundings or just passerbys that is a long time iPhone user/buyer that's suddenly decided to get a Samsung or anything that wasn't an iPhone. Obviously my evidence is anecdotal and by no means scientific but I've been a tech enthusiast for well over 20 years and have followed tech closely in that time particularly cell phones and I'm sure people jump platforms more commonly than what I have seen directly myself but the numbers can't be large by any means.
