Fortunately Xiaomi CN (Chinese) versions are generally released with unlocked boot loaders from the factory, so for international users there should be no issues rooting or reflashing the device to further support your locale. Check your service provider to see which 5G/4G bands are in use by that company and reference it along with the supported cell bands offered by the device to ensure the device is compatible in your country. Generally speaking there should be no issues receiving international service coverage.

Unfortunately, outside of China the Xiaomi folds are not usable because the new UI does not notify in real time the arrival of new messages from the various apps

Cpt.Power, 13 Mar 2024Like its precedesor this going to beat Z fold 6 like nothin... moreTbf, it looks like the Xiaomi is going to be held back a bit in spec and some features compared to Vivo Fold 3 Pro, the Vivo pro has larger battery and i heard it's going to be the slimmest foldable yet, the only thing that might justify the buy for Xiaomi over Vivo is the price, if they're similar in price then i see no point but definitely go for the Vivo as it's the clear winner for me, might be early to say but so far Vivo outshines every foldable in terms of specs and features

Let's just hope this one comes with good bands for the US so we can use it well too 😁

Many of the specs Samsung could learn somthing about... Like charge speed, mAh size etc... Atleast Sammy is no. 1 at the Android top, could be nice if we could see this on the specs sheet to.

A2 and note 8 pro are still working normally after years and being used by family members as daily drivers
