Android facts- 5 Inches(compusory nowdays), 2GB RAM minumum(even it lags on it), higher version of android=higher requirements of RAM.
Froyo=256MB
GB=512MB
ICS=1GB
JB=2GB.
hahaha yet it laggs....such a waste if it lags on 2GB...

El oh el, so much for no fragmentation. I guess this is one way to do it; other being dropping support for basically everything older than 2-3 years...

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2013Google don't make money from Android. why is it a winner? DON'T make money???? iOS doesn't make money either.. its free to download as long as you buy an iphone,
Google has a nexus phone every year, as well as a WAYY higher price on the stock market.
google is busy making self driving cars, they dont bother making extra pennies off some cell phones.

Who came with pull-down Notification Center first? Android 1.0
Who came with simplistic HoloUI? Android 4.0
Who came with flat MetroUI? WP7
Who came with Multitasking/Multiwindow? Android/Samsung
And now, crapple just copied everything from Android and WP and called its their revolutionary idea.... What Android can't do that iOS7 can do?
Who came first with those feature? Android or iOS?

isnt this clearly shameless deception
when samsung announced that the Galaxy S1 wont be updated to Ice cream sandwich. samsung provided them with software features, but it was still called gingerbread.
Even microsoft accepted it that the WP 7 devices would not get updated to WP8
the devices got updated to 7.8 (with user interface features) but still called windows phone 7.
This is clearly lying to users, adding few features to iOS6 and calling it iOS7.
Apple is now getting offensive.

Looking at different blogs and forums (android, apple and others) the general opinion is.
1) the new features are great (notifications, multi tasking, air drop etc) and not before time.
2) the icons are pretty average (safari and photos especially) and have no consistency.
3) There is a lack of consistency across applications
4) The colours, all the white and the transitions are sort of cool but really hard to get used to.

mree, 12 Jun 2013This should be simple. If Android users don't like the new ... moreQuite true actually. With the new control center and also notification shade, it is getting nearer to Android in terms of user experiences. But I still prefer Android's file management which I think iOS is more restricted on that.

Still no widgets? ALL OTHER mobile OSes agree on benefits of widgets (or tiles) as well as users - the greater part of smartphone users use OSes that benefit from widgets or tiles.
Apple stubbornly insists on defining what their users will like rather than listen to the world and provide their needs.

HOW come the ipod touch 4G 32g has the a4 chip just underclocked and cannot deal with aNy of the new improvements or newer featurettes or whatever. so they did let the 3gs update but no this ipod touch 4g - its still single core as iphone 4 chipset architecture. and discontinued. i grow to like apple but unfortunately ill have to pass on this one. lolz
