                  People won't know that, say, SD480 is far better than 680 simply because the former has smaller numbers. Or that Dimensity 6080 is just D700 with a different name.

                  But 4GB vs 4+4=8GB? Much easier to understand.....and to market.

                    you have to suffer, 15 Mar 2024for 8gb variant that's almost like 45-55% ram usage.Yeah, to be fair most phones I've used with uses about the same amount. Seems like Android really likes using half of the available RAM if there's at least 8GB.

                    I think the only outlier were Infinix phones with usage more often on the 5GB or more mark with the same amount of RAM. Never a major problem, though.

                            Just updated a few days ago, RAM usage is still normal at 3.5-4.5GBs at any time of the day.

                            Didn't notice any major improvements or bugs, the added customisation options are neat though.

                                Despite the long list of "changes", in reality they are very minor, and most of them are cosmetics. You can be on either FuntouchOS 13 or 14, and you won't know the difference unless you go to Settings.

                                  hope this update wouldn't take 85% of the entire v23's ram to promote ram extension. anyway, this phone still looks attractive even today. atleast to me.
