Personally I would be more interested in when they could make it 50% less thick, so it came down to the size of a proper watch.
But I guess power efficiency improvement is a prerequisite for getting there, so maybe in 2034... So we have a less power hungry OS as well as less power hungry chips, we might get there. Unless they insist on filling it with all kind of bloat rather than caring for stamina and wearability.....

So if you have a Samsung you must choose another smart/sport watch to use... Apple isn't perfect but they manage well their data from their watch and is more reliable that Samsung...
Samsung could and should make it better since they have a lot more appliances than Apple...
But manage all that is expensive...
That's why Apple is a more reliable system all in one...
Ring, Watch, iPhone, iMac, Apple TV, home kit...
As I said, they aren't perfect, I am moving from Apple... And truth be told, their system is well built and well integrated...

i wish they also put some upgraded sensors in watch7. they are using the same one since watch4 which were below market average in terms of HR and GPS accuracy back in 2021. nowadays, watch6 accuracy is in smartband territory.

Battery life doesn't compare to Garmin. Health sensor is the same as the last 3 models. It's proven not to be good or accurate yet Samsung keep using it.

put bigger battery example 65 hours battery life while Bluetooth always on (10 days without bluetooth, just the pulse) or we all stay on Watch 4 Classic 46mm. Watch 5 and watch 6 same battery life as watch 4 🤦♂️
And put Facebook Messenger pics to readable on notifications. Everytime i see "... sent a photo." im tired to pulling phone off from my pocket.

Currently having Watch 4, Watch 5 Pro is tempting due to big battery, titanium body and sapphire display but didn't buy it due to same nm processor. Was waiting for a watch with bettery performance with good battery.
Samsung downgraded battery on Watch 6. Hope they increase battery capacity on Watch 7.

i will jump in to android wear if only they can manage to have 7 days battery life on single charge, on the mean time i ll stay with huawei gt 4 pro

Chipset efficiency is awesome and may lead to longer battery life. Buuut Samsung Galaxy watches need more than that to stand toe-to-toe with Apple Watches like SE or even entry-level Garmin watches.
Mainly its "Inaccurate HR sensor" the primary issue it have and next is Incomplete / Barely sufficient "Phone software" that you require more than 2 apps to setup your watch as well as few metrics for runners or weight lifters.
I hope they put more effort in 7th iteration of this watch 😐

Hopefully the square version is some cheaper fitness focused device. I like my proper smartwatches being circular
