Please don't do this. I love small flagships and so are some people. Apple making 4 years, it makes sense for them to limit whatever they feels so, but Samsung produces hundreds of phones every year, and this boss company must cater the consumers who want compact fs devices. Coming from S4, S7, S8, S9, I love my S22 and aiming to upgrade to S25 but big screen is a big no, it is just forcing us to stay with older phones or simple jump up to the ultras.

I'm not a NBA player why do we need +6" phone. Gimme small 5.8" screen. So I can fit it in a pocket and not wearing a bag just to keep the phone in there

WTF?! Where in the world someone need such big phone?
Even the 6" phones are almost impossible to be used in one hand... And if someone needs the bigger screen because s/he is using it always with two hands, then there is the + model...
I really hope that the smaller Pixel 9 devices with the better camera setup are true and then that's the phone I am looking for :D

S24 is way too small, but S24 is way too big...so a bigger S25 will be perfect. And no need for S25+

If a bigger s25 is true, the S25+ will probably disappear...

Don't make this good phone something else. It's perfect at 6.1 inches display size.

Cpt.Power, 18 Mar 2024Small phiones are useless.
You cant cram big battery and ... more"You cant cram big battery and a good specs into a small phone."
Who wants a big battery? Samsung has been keeping the same size and increasing battery for past 5 years. Chipset efficiency and battery density has increased. They can take a S10, put the latest high density battery and chipset manufactured using latest node and call it a S25. It would be better than whatever they are planning to release as an actual S25.

oh no, not even bigger, what a pointless development.
I've been looking for a smartphone with a screen size under 6" that has a 6000mAH battery for a long operating time, as well as flagship specifications that match those of the Ultrea, especially storage and RAM, with two good cameras, more cameras are nonsense. It can also be 9mm thick for a large battery.
Since the basic versions are always totally slimmed down, you are always forced to buy the oversized ULTRAS.

And one more thing, I think Samsung wont let SD8 gen 4 go so I wont believe the Exynos of the next S series rumor

This is only my personal prediction. I think this trend (i.e Samsung, particularly) depend on what Apple do with its next iPhone lol

Reviewers complain that phones are too big but then they go out and buy the Ultra. Even the ones who claim they will use the S24 for a week end up going back. It really reminds me of the people who claim they want to drive stick shift over automatic. This is .16'' bigger. It's hardly an issue.

Cpt.Power, 18 Mar 2024Yes its reminds me a times of SD888 or even more the famous... moreNot all phones had this issue thankfully haha, my find x5 does fine (gets very warm but never hot, its not a hand sweater haha). Phones with good cooling systems dealt with the 888 decently, the 810 was just terrible (wasnt it when qualcomm went from 4 cores to 8 cores AND changed to 64 bit processors from 32?
