Apple reportedly pushes back launch of the foldable iPhone

The delay will be about half a year, but the company is still focused on securing component suppliers that can execute its vision.

Samsung is the originator of the foldable phone and dominating with them. Apple needs to create their own unique phone instead of being copy cats. Oh, by the way this comment was sent by MY Samsung Galaxy Fold 5.

    Any machine with a moving part, is afailure waiting to happen long term. Foldables should be seen as enthusiast toys not tools.

Suppliers from China bullied into these lose-lose contracts and end up making it for dirt cheap while the big trillion dollar company comes out open makes all marketing pitch ti make it look like their innovaiton!

I don’t want a screen with a giant crease running down the middle simply because it’s killer feature is the ability to do what books have been doing for centuries, fold shut.

                  "Neither company has built a display quite like this one – Apple patented a solution to reduce the crease where the display folds in half. This is done by etching a groove in the Ultra Thin Glass and covering it up with flexible polymers. This will allow the display panel to bend more easily and form a less visible crease."

                  This will also compromise the structural integrity greatly.


                  One of the Main Reasons possibly, why Apple has delayed the foldable is because it hasn't coined an earth shattering name yet 🤣🤣🤣
