The screen is top notch for the price wdym the display goes upto 1k nits in the A34, that's better than the Oneplus 11 AND on par with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don't see any reason to complain about the display apart from the thick bezels which is done intentionally to upsell the S24 series.
The chip is fine for the price, the lower mid range category has no proper competitor. Companies ignore this price bracket, the 7+ Gen 3 is gonna be awesome but it's gonna be in upper midrange or a midrange phone with awful cameras.
Why are you expecting so much from midrangers my friend? BTW I was talking about the A35 not the A55. The latter is a disgrace as always, last year the A34 was easily the best value phone from Samsung and this time they'll continue the tradition it seems.
Okay bro you expect too much, under an hour charging? Not even the S24 Ultra does that. 10 bit screen? Not even the Ultra phones have 10 bit screens. Lossless main? Not even the S24 Ultra has a lossless crop in the Auto mode, only in the portrait mode is the 2x a lossless crop, in Auto mode it's a digital crop. Settle your expectations properly.
In this price range you get phones like the Poco X6 which perform similarly and have a similar set of cameras. No one is better than the other in the mid range segment overall. Each phone has pros and cons, some phones prioritize cameras, some do performance, some do display, but they cut corners elsewhere to save costs. If you want a perfect all rounder get an overpriced flagship.

PureOS, 18 Mar 2024Exynos 1380 is far from smooth. Using a54 128/8 gb version. It's smooth dude. No complain at all. The adaptation of phone's performance is even more impressive.

Samsung as usual over prices their phones because they know how fast they drop in price.
Tell me another mid range device in 2024 at A35s price that comes with 6gb of ram.

How does A35 with less ram feels fast and smooth compared to A54??

I'd love to like samsung devices but they are so boring now, not just that but 6gb is an under $300 option, anything more its a rip off (especially when they offer 8 bit screens with no good HDR support and NOTHING in the box).
The also deliberate lies and trickery of saying "so its releasing at THIS price but we instantly drop the price/offer as many add ons or trade in value of $70 but we wont mention what gets you that and we never increase the price again" is actually disgusting, its like when game devs release a game at £60 but instantly go "it's on deal for £40" which means its msrp is £40, not 60 so if it goes up they are INCREASING the price, really disgusting tactics some companies use to convince people.
If this phone releases at £250 its good value, anything more its a rip off but will probably do really well.
