Nvidia is unstoppable once again. This kind of performance uplift is equivalent to upgrading from a SD855 to an SD8G3 in one fell swoop. This is a multi-generational upgrade. This GPU could cost $150,000 (That's a Tesla Model S Plaid and Kawasaki Ninja H2 with enough money left over for insurance and energy!), and yet it would still be out of stock, because of the AI bubble. Gosh dang it, I shouldn't have sold Nvidia.

Massive generational uplifts in the "haha machine learning go brrr" department. How much of that will translate to the original gaming chip business remains to be seen, and I'm intrigued to find out. Not that it'll be of any more than academic interest seeing as I have a 4070 laptop literally on the way as I type 😂

Sounds like a huge development in power and efficiency. The computing cost of AI is falling per calculation.

Scam. AI is overrated.
