That's a 3.5mm jack on the side, looks like Sony listened to people complaining they could not use wired headset on Xperia Z when out in the rain. The disadvantage is of course that it's on the side and not on top.
I Know some said "use Bluetooth headset instead", but the problem with that on Xperia Z is that the Bluetooth headset itself is not waterproof. The waterproof jack of Togari is really the best option, more so IF it was on top

I must say I am out of contract and have been waiting for the NOTE 3. So far I have not been impressed by any of the competitors because they so not have built in support for a sylus. I appears that Sony are trying to go a step further (if the image is to be believed). This could make it a real contender. It would be brilliant news because Samsung would have to respond and I feel that Samsung has started to get lazy. So one way or another a win with this product will please me.

this is a phablet, meaning it will have the same UI as a phone and its more intended to be a phone than a tablet, so with 6.4 inch screen and sharp edges, this phablet will be very uncomfortable to put in your pocket.

Yes, they should release Honami as soon as possible.
And yes, it is a tablet, but that doesn't stop people from saying: "that's too big of a phone!", unfortunately.
Definitely interesting to see it in any case.
