David 040882, 20 Mar 2024What is Motorola even doing at this point. It's alread... moreProbably they didn't sell much of their flagship lineup. They might have decided to go a more cost effective route to provide cheaper phones to consumers. It's hard for a small company to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo and Vivo when they don't have the same resources especially in terms of flagship phones. People spending a lot of money on flagships usually choose the bigger brands. If they were loosing money or making no impact on the flaghsip market maybe they had to try something different.

I think launching a phone with the Dimensity 9300 would be a smart move since it's cheaper than the 8 Gen 3.

or they even changes the whole spec and downgrade the whole spec but leave the price .

More than capable chipset. It only seems a bit big with that 6,7" display. Motorola is offering a pretty solid experience for a reasonable price with occasional missteps here and there. I like that it is the least Chinese of the Chinese brands.

That doesn't make any sense. That's a huge downgrade from Edge 40 Pro with 8 Gen 2. 7 Gen 3 should be in vanilla Edge 50 not Pro. Oneplus Nord CE 3 will have 7 Gen 3 and is expected to cost under 30k which is around $350

Finally, Motorola is going to compete with flagships!!

Think that this is smart decision.
Motorola simply can't compete with the biggest names in the industry.
So, in my opinion, it is better to make some sort of flagship killer, price it accordingly, and most of all, give a proper set of cameras for this phone.
First and foremost, at least 3x tele camera.
