Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is officially the first phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Interesting.
If there is a Civi Pro, it means that the Vanilla one is yet to be released...

I can see it:
Civi 4 Pro - Poco F6
Civi - Uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and is also Mi 14 Lite

And a potential Poco X6 GT uses Civi design but has Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.

    If Xiaomi wants to make a Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro that actually makes sense, they should've made the telephoto an 85mm periscope; made the ultrawide use the 50MP IMX 858 sensor and given it PDAF with macro; add a ToF 3D sensor for the selfie for improved low-light performance; and put an IMX 858 sensor for each selfie camera, with PDAF and Laser AF on both modules as well as IBIS on the main one. This would be the ultimate affordable enthusiast phone. The selfies would be unparalleled (assuming Xiaomi's processing and software worked, which is not always true).

They might launch it with a different processor to keep the price down or maybe they won't launch it globally at all. Next month Redmi will launch a phone with this chip in China

                            Camera island is like a budget Realme, It's good to be given a Leica, dual selfie cam etc... this is enough to fight the Vivo V30 series.

                              I like the blue and pink color, and I'm curious how the cameras will perform

                                Decent offering from Xiaomi. The main camera is good. Basically it's the same rear camera setup as the k70 pro. Tried it today. Nice and light. Same style of curved screen as the Xiaomi 14 ultra but just a lower resolution. The only real disappointing thing is just a 2x telephoto with no OIS. Beyond portraits in good light it's not that useful. Apart from that though it's a solid around home for a reasonable price. Big improvement from previous Civi phones. It's worth the price increase I think
