Why would they choose Snapdragon Gen3? It's already proven that it requires a special amount of cooling as it's throttling. It's a bad chip.

110, the numbers are getting big

D9300+ is basically a desktop PC lol. If Apple can run a desktop OS with ARM cores then we can run Windows with ARM cores too!

Absolutely unnecessary. The Dimensity is the most peak power consuming flagship chip at the market currently. Overclocking it would lead to small gain at the cost of even more power consumption and heat. Mediatek should rather work on bridging the difference between their flagship chip (D 9300) and their upper midrange chip (D 8300), just like Quslcomm is currently. Also I would love to see a model with NVIDIA GPU, when they're talking about upgrading their flagship model. But a plainly overclocked D 9300 wouldn't make sense unless they put it into a laptop.

"The Dimensity 9400 could power an upcoming vivo X100 Ultra, though that phone could end up with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as well."

No, it cannot. This device is coming in 2 months.

Don't think the X100 Ultra/Pro+ will spot the Dimensity 9400 is it arrives in October. By that time, the X110 series should be ready to debut. The X100 Ultra/Pro+ is either arriving 'till summer or it's not coming at all.
