Yes because Polycarbonate is ugly and cheap for sure....
And aluminum and glass are perfect....except not.
Aluminum dings and dents, scratches. The One cannot safely be opened by a repair expert without bending it.
Glass shatters. Bother are more expensive, fragile, heavy, harder to form, and worse with heat.

Second those were not even the first phones to support such features.

Samsung's Air gesture feature was originally from Xperias Sola and U. If you'll have everything removed, One will be in anyway better than the S4.

I agree that IPS is a very good type of screen technology like the Super LCD being used by HTC. Amoled on the other hand is only good for people who'd like to have a cartoon-ish photos or images on the color reproduction matter. I always find HTC's and LG's screens better than Samsung's. I just hope that Sony's Triluminos screen works wonders too.

Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Xperia Z, iPhone 5, Blackberry Z10, Lumia 928 etc all are superb phone.
If somebody likes Beyonce then it is not true that Shakira is bad or Rihanna or Britney is bad. Every one has their own quality. Atleast we have different choices. We should enjoy product what we own rather than wasting time on this useless debate on internet.

it's super fragile... anybody who is considering buying this should really weigh a 100 times... except only if money is not an issue on the part of the buyer....
mine got a broken lcd when it fell for about 2 feet from the ground... there were no signs of impact in the external case...

GS4 is head and shoulders above the rest. Love mine! HTC One is a solid device but takes a huge hit in my book w/o expandable memory. iPhone...keep trying to catch up. It's noble work your doing there Apple. LOL

In-plane switching involves arranging and switching the molecules of the liquid crystal (LC) layer between the glass substrates essentially in a plane parallel to these glass plates.
Amoled has a slow response time compared to IPS Lcd! Get your facts straight before you embarass yourself.

If a product is good, it will sell even under intense hate and boycott from haters, no need to confirm from CEO.
I never trust Samsung phones anymore, they never deliver the storage size they announce, and now not even delivering CPU they announced.
