Baidu is the only option in China. The question for Chinese consumers would be will they put as much investment into their Chinese ai offerings as they will into their Google based ones. It takes lots of investment to develop these. The same thing also applies to Chinese manufacturers with their phones in overseas markets. Already a lot of Chinese brands like Oppo for example offer ai features that are only available in China. Many of their future ai developments will be based on baidu
