Going through that page helped me realize that I have no reason to upgrade my iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15. I don't particularly care much about any of the selling points listed.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2024It was the same person but for some reason GSMArena changed... moreOh, alright, and no I'm absolutely not a Samsung fan, I hate their software, plus the S24 Ultra isn't as tall as the X Note, and it has a flat display, which is fine, but I personally prefer curved displays. I've always loved vivo phones and their Origin OS software, the X Note isn't my first device from them that's running that software.

Just one more thing, I don't hate Apple, and I actually prefer them over Samsung, but there are some decisions that they've made that I dislike, which is why I would take an S23/S24 over their base iPhones (if I was looking for a small phone), otherwise I'd take the iPhone 15 Pro over the S24 if money doesn't matter, and if it does I'd rather get the iPhone 13 Pro/14 Pro than their base iPhones.

Maybe deep down you're just a big Samsung fan. The Samsung Ultra model is as bulky and heavy as your vivo X Note, perhaps it could be an even more perfect device for you. But obviously a Samsung fan will never admit that hating Apple is pathetic. The $760 offer for your vivo X Note is excellent. I think the best thing Apple can do is offer a new factory-sealed iPhone 13 for $699.99.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2024When it comes to compact mobile devices, is your choice Sam... moreSo just because you prefer compact phones, and I prefer as big as possible phones, I have terrible taste? So what does that make your taste in phones in my eyes? Terrible as well? No, because I actually understand that you may have different needs. However accepting less for more money isn't a difference in taste, you can turn off high refresh rate on any phone that has it, but you can't turn it on, on a phone that doesn't have it, same goes for fast charging features.

Oh, and $1100.. right, I paid $760 for a brand new 12gb/512gb version of said phone, so what about it's original price? Who cares, when it didn't cost that much.

"..definition of the perfect mobile device.."

I never called it a definition, and that's because it's not that. I said it multiple times, it's PERFECT FOR ME, that's not a definition by any means, and it was only brought up because the other person I was talking to couldn't accept the existence of my perfect phone.

I view it. And that is not a defence of Apple on my part as you have tried to insinuate, but rather a rebuke of those of those that still think such nonsense is funny or clever."

I appreciate your perspective. While I understand that you see adding 'i' as lazy and dumb, I used it more as sarcasm or criticism of Apple's naming convention rather than an attempt to be clever or funny. Let's agree to disagree on this point.

"Third, why are you still talking to me about people making comments about the wealth / financial means of random strangers online? I already told you I find that behaviour stupid, no matter which side of the fence it comes from. You could never hope to prove what I can or cannot afford, just like I could never hope to disprove your claim of being able to "afford buying 2 iPhone pro max's a month", thus rendering any such talk on financial means as absolutely pointless, so I tend to avoid it altogether."

Regarding discussions about financial means, I respect your stance and will refrain from bringing up such topics in the future. I understand that personal experiences, both online and offline, can influence how we perceive certain issues.

"Lastly, I would agree that any discrimination, especially that based on such a trivial matter as what smartphone a person chooses to uses, does need to stop."

demeaning Apple users. I’ve personally been called all sorts here simply because I use an iPhone.

So, whilst I would also agree somewhat with your comment, I’d go a step further and say people who insinuate the wealth of random strangers based on nothing more than their smartphone of choice are the problem.
People who insinuate the intelligence of random strangers based on nothing more than their smartphone of choice are the problem. People who do little else other than constantly comment on how much they despise a certain brand are the problem.'

Well, I agree that it goes both ways, then don't understand your problem as both parties have to stop such discrimination.

I've seen many iPhone users saying that android users are jealous because they can't afford iPhone (I can afford buying 2 iPhone pro max's a month but I won't because it doesn't suit my choices, I don't want to be in that paid walled garden and I don't like to be dictated by some company on how to use my personal device) and I've been personally told by a person that Apple is good because they have trillions of cash in reserves (!!! - how is that even a statement).....and the list goes on and on....

'Oh and one more, people who put the letter i in front of a slur in an ironically dumb attempt to sound clever, they too are the problem.

But by no means is that provocation one way!'

You seem to have problem with everything or anything that comes against apple, in your world there is no place for criticism or sarcasm I guess. Huh!!

In the last point, if you are referring to me calling apple as ifruit is ironically dumb attempt to sound clever? then that tells a lot about your understanding of how your world works!

Apple designed a phone or any device for that matter and adds an 'i' in front their device name, is that not ironically dumb attempt to sound clever? if not then people adding 'i' in front of any name to criticize is not ironically dumb attempt to sound clever.

And if that provocate you then so be it!!

Andrei, 30 Mar 2024Make a mini version of it and tomorrow I’ll move from 14 to... moreKnow that Apple will never make it. They don't know that people have small hands because everybody, including their CEO, has big hands and they have grown even bigger in 2022, hence they removed Mini phones from the iPhone fleet starting with the iPhone 14 series and instead replaced it with the Plus series which is the complete opposite - it's bigger. The good ole days of small phones are gone. So, if you want a recent small flagship which is exceptional, go for the Asus Zenfone 10 which runs Android. I hope you don't have a problem using Android.
