If Nokia managed to make the C32 with an infamous 28nm chipset work like a SD680 phone, imagine how well optimized, their more upmarket SD480 phone is. That can't be compared to a random Chinese phone (I consider Samsung and Motorola to be Chinese, due to being completely manufactured and designed by Wingtech) with gobs of bloatware, further hampered by cumulative updates that convert them to paperweights.

samsung galaxy a11 were the worse one by putting heavy af android 12 on a weak cpu. the audacity lol

That... moreI got to test some phones with the same/similar chipsets (G35, G35, P35, SD450 etc) and they tested my patience, whenever I tried to use them. Even my parents' Nokia C32 phones aren't this slow with 28nm chipsets lol

Too bad it doesn't have a 256GB storage option, but tbh as someone who still feels enough with 64GB storage, I don't really mind this. And oh yeah sadly it's also not available on our country. 🤣

DashF, 26 Mar 2024Some of you'll really need to buy a super cheap phone ... more256mb ram? vga camera? that's from the different era. we are in 2024 not 2012. anyway, this phone is just straight up terrible in todays standards. this is just as good if they launched in early 2018. not 2024. if you ever actually used these i doubt you'd throw the phone to the ground once you feel the lag. helio G36 is so bad that it's capable of android go only. those types of chips are a waste of resources and silicon. even if it's cheap, you'll still regret the purchase either. because if you sell it again, it'll render the phone worth $40.

And yeah this device would be much better if only it's equipped with T606, but yeah, again, this is Xiaomi, and they never use Unisoc on their phones.
And yeah despites it's low clock speed, this chipset is actually performs great under medium usage, and ofc, miles better than G36. (Source: my secondary phone, Samsung A03 still performs great after almost 2 years of medium to heavy usage like Genshin). And oh yeah it supports UFS too.
