Anonymous, 26 Mar 2024What I want from HMD in 2024 is an iPhone 15 Pro Max killer... moreI just wanted a high end Nokia. It actually looked good initially, HMD's "Nokia" had high quality designs that set whole new standards in durability when it came to bend tests with high end components. And then they just started selling 500 variants of Snapdragon 695 powered phones with low end components around it at unreasonably high prices.

IpsDisplay, 26 Mar 2024If the pulse is $100 then it's good But storage nee... moreThey did offer UFS 2.0 for the $70 Nokia G11 Plus and UFS 2.2 for the $120 Nokia G50, much better than any other low end available in the market for the same price or less

DarlingYext, 26 Mar 2024On paper they sound exactly the same as some of their Nokia... moreThe only things special about Nokia's phones were unchanged stock Android from Google pixels, better optimization compared to competitors (very ironic for a brand with minimal resources, when all others basically force their low ends to become paperweights within a few months of use by updates) and aluminium middle frames that never bend in a back pocket by careless people's use.

Legend Pro should come with a MediaTek Dimensity for 5G or better performance.
Pulse Pro should come with a UniSoc T7 or T8xx chi[

On paper they sound exactly the same as some of their Nokia branded phones, nothing special.

Chips with A75/76 should be forbiden to be used.

What is the point of selling such phones under a different name? They think they will attract much more people?

What I want from HMD in 2024 is an iPhone 15 Pro Max killer, or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra killer

If the pulse is $100 then it's good

But storage needs to UFS tho

One big good sign is it looks like full android 14.. not the Go nonsense

Not much difference between the phones aside from the standard Pulse, which you can configure it with more RAM than even the Pro version

nice, at least some brands are focusing on recycling e-waste and putting them into new phones.
