I do not have any other mac products. I used to have, but I sold them all. I must defend the iPad. I am using my iPad air 3 gen since 2019 but really is getting dated and I cannot wait for another model as good as that one. so, finger crossed it will be good. Memory wise, i have 64GB and because all is going to the cloud, I think I still have about 40GB free :D. I won't be bothered to get the version with sim card. Wi-Fi is more than you need tethering from the 5G phone is more than enough.

Why should I purchase a purposefully gimped device which got decent hardware but is segmented on purpose by its software...when I can purchase a Mac Air for a similar price-point when all is said and done, and use it for both basic+pro workflows?
I see two kinds of people who purchase these high end iPads: people with too much money / CC bills, who are not tech savvy enough to understand that a basic iPad will serve their casual browsing/movie watching/social media browsing needs just as well without burning a hole in their pockets. And the second are silly bandwagon posers, who want to show off the fruit logo and their "loyalty" to the company.

Hahaha! Don't want to spook the sheeple by truthfully stating on record that they are scrambling to fix that gaping hole in their security on the M3 chips before rushing it out to the iShelves. But at least M3 Can be fixed to some extent unlike M1 and M2 right? :D

And they both still run on glorified iOS for tablets. I still can't see any reason to get either one, especially when I compared the price between the M2 iPad Pro and the M2 MacBook Air. Even without the iPad Pro's Magic Keyboard, it's still crazy expensive.

Hopefully they will place the camera on the upcoming iPad Air in landscape - if not, I'll just get the current iPad Air instead.

XCIV, 29 Mar 2024Hopefully the base storage starts from 128GB and not 64GB. for a $1000 for the 11" model, it should start at 256gb, and i'm sure there will be a price rise to offset those new screens as well
