        Whatever galaxy design they are trying to pull off. there will be huge notch. I dont understand why all these chinese brand try to sell shiny backs of the phone, when users spend their time 99.99% time looking at front.

        Chinese companies love big chins.

My first comment was clearly about the original owner of the design, not about which brand used it first, in their own brand's smartphones.

              Samsung itself isn't hiding which ODMs they've outsourced designs from, and defending their non-existent originality is pointless.

              And I expected a fair and civil argument, not a delusional, filler response without any proven facts defending the "Samsung" brand name. Why would you call Samsung an original owner of designs, when there's ready evidence available on the internet? If the links I've attached aren't showing up, there may be a filter for comments here.

              You can freely take a deep dive into the internet, to learn about anything of your interest. It's not a time period without unlimited access to information like in the olden days.

              If you're trying to prove yourself correct, learn to comprehend comments before coming into conclusions. 👍

                Samsung phone is samsung phone not a rebranded wingtech phone nor a rebranded foxconn phone. I believe you dont need triple digits of IQ to understand simple thing like this.

                Also, matter of fact that most of commenter here said thay this new realme phone looks like Samsung phone, just show that this is indeed a knock-off samsung phone design and that isnothing to be ashamed.

                Your claim that the design of Samsung belongs to ABCD company was irrelevant, because it was samsung who started first and made it popular.

                I also support chinese brand that copy the middle punch hole of Samsung. Nothing to be ashamed.

                Samsung design is great, that would explain why most chinese left their side punch hole design and choose samsung design instead.

                I just hope chinese brand have increasing sales after using Samsung design, because samsung design is just one big selling point by any mediocre brand.

Lol.
                    Also by that context, the Xiaomi default ringtone is free marketing for Nokia, because it's the same composer and arranger (Henry Daw) and instrument (Array Mbira) used in both ringtones.

                    Also, the central punch hole is there because of Wingtech, and Samsung has nothing to do with it too. By that means, then Nokia is the first manufacturer with the circular camera island that later became overused on Huawei-branded Tinno phones. Same goes with the vertical camera island, because Nokia is technically first with that shape and arrangement.

                    Name anything special about Samsung. They're the biggest Android brand yet, the most common brand making their self-branded products into obsolete paperweights, and the biggest rebrander of Wingtech, and that's it. Nothing unique, and nothing remarkable either.

                    Being a fan of Samsung, doesn't prove that they're the first or best in everything. It doesn't speak up for their turbulent legacy, either. I would've agreed if your comment made sense, but it didn't, unfortunately.

                        As a samsung user i personally support all chinese brand to copy middle punch hole design of Samsung and also copy the triple vertical lens setup of Samsung. I mean why only copy the punch hole? Why not the back camera design also?

                        Samsung phone has great design, and nothing to be ashamed for copying Samsung.

                          For example - the Galaxy A22 5G and the Asian variant of Moto G50 are almost identical phones. In fact the rebranded version of A22 5G - F42 (Wide5) even has a restyled camera bump that's similar to the one on the Motorola!

                              Samsung doesn't sue because they can't sue, since it's not an original design from Samsung itself. It can neither be considered copyright infringement in this case, nor Realme as a "knockoff" brand. I'm not being biased towards BBK from my comment, though.

                                2. By selling the knock-off version of Samsung phone, Realme is indirectly promoting Samsung phone also.

                                3. Most Revenue of Samsung phone comes from sales in Europe and USA, where its hard to sell knock-off phone officially.

The curved edges are so much better to grip and look so much better. Ergonomics and looks are better while not having any major real drawbacks. Plus, it makes the phone feel thinner when you hold it.
