vivo X100 hands-on review

02 April 2024
We used the vivo X100 for over a month, and here's what we think about it.

Bala, 24 Apr 2024Its been a while with the hands on review. When can we see ... moreThey probably won't bother doing one. They don't give too much coverage to Vivo phones and I don't think they have ever done a full review for the base flagship model in the Vivo x series

Can't believe a hands on review is more detailed than the full review as the Xiaomi 14

bas, 02 Apr 2024How is the software support of vivo say compared to xiaomi,... moreShould be noted that this only applies to flagships

Vivo (and probably Realme): 3 OS updates + 4y security patch
Xiaomi: 4 OS updates + 5y security patch
Samsung: 7 OS updates + 8y security patch

Just additional information, Oppo and OnePlus also used the same policy as Xiaomi's, and Pixel used the same policy as Samsung's.

Please do a proper battery test for the vivo x100

Mumtaj ansari, 02 Apr 2024Charging time.. hitting problem And why is that ? Should it be 15 minutes because people got too many kids and are always in a rush or something ?

CamoGeko-XDA, 02 Apr 2024Why even bother? Just get the pro at this point. Chin... moreWell, it's cheaper and lighter than the pro and has faster wired charging.. Screen and processor are the same. Only really the main and telephoto camera, battery capacity and wireless charging differ. The camera difference is not as big as you might think though as the x100 is still strong enough for cameras. The other small difference would be usb type 2.0 versus type 3.2 on the pro. In terms of sales it is actually the standard model that sells more (at least in China). Generally these standard models like the x100 for Vivo and Xiaomi 14 for Xiaomi sell better than the pro and ultra models so there are still plenty of people interested in them.

Very comprehensive hands-on review and very nice photos of Hong Kong.

Vivo has been making some extremely nice phones and this sub-flagship is more than decent.

                    Why even bother?

Just get the pro at this point.

China phones have the worst software support though.

Pro has better main cam, longer periscope, faster usb and larger battery.
I would not pay the difference to have this if I wanted a vivo flagship.
