Mills, 03 Apr 2024XM5s are goatedSony headphones are only good when it comes to audio quality, they're annoying to use and feel cheap. The slider on my xm3s broke in less than 3 months, they get super hot when charging, the touchpad sucks, you can't use them while charging (why???), the screws in them started RUSTING, and they also switch audio Codecs every time I connect to them, plus the app is clunky and annoying to use. For the price sony headphones cost, all of these issues are unacceptable. No wonder they're losing market share

Worst thing is people thinking Sony WH-1000XM5 are good. Way too bassy, which has been an issue for quite a while. Don't even get me starten on Soundcore, most of their products are very mediocre, the Q35 mentioned here aswell. Weird bass boost with bad treble..

ANC can't be turned off?? Well that's sucks. My Anker Soundcore Life Q30 can do better than that. Control buttons for operational (volume up and down, turn on and off ANC (switch between ANC to transparency mode to normal) also on the right side you can tap and hold for few seconds to turn off and on the transparency mode. Power button, pairing button (it support multi pairing, can pairs up to two devices at the same time) and what more, it cost less than Sennheiser headphones. The catch? ANC is quite decent (not as good as Sony, Sennheiser and Bose headphones) Codex not much, at least on my Life Q30 (other Soundcore headphones model have a great codex support). Battery life is great for budget ANC headphones and the headphones ear cups can be rotate so you can lay it down flat and it can be fold too. Come with carrying case that stores all the cables (USB and audio cable store in small pouch bag). Anyway, I would still love to own a Sony or Sennheiser or Bose headphones one day. Overall, nice review and thank you.

No, they are not from Sennheiser. Sonova bought this department including the name Sennheiser a few years ago.
