android needs this policy to match apple to be competitive.
you dont know the statistics to say that, more and more people using flagships for longer - samsung and google raising updates policy is a testament of that.
actually oneplus and xiaomi raised it as well.
motorola and asus are the lowest of the bunch now.
Also - im talking about flagships 1000$ phones need longer updates, others I dont care about - they probably fine with 3 years.

I could buy it just for having a curved screen. It looks so premium compared to Samsung's detestable brick that is the latest Ultra. If cameras are good, i'll definitely think about it.

Said it before, say it again: curved screens are out and Moto's update policy security patching is atrocious. I decided to jump ship.

Oneplus flagship are 4 major and 5 security.
Moto should match at least Oneplus to be considered

sometimes I think these curved screens are leftovers from samsung sold cheap. Imagine samsung coming out of it since 2021 while some are still stuck with this. I mean surely they are not stup!d to see the top notch brand ditching the curve trend, neither does apple uses it. but companies like motorola, honor, realme and oneplus are still holding on to it despite having some decent techs. notice how similar their sizes are and cuttings are. They are being cleared out as long they are amoled.

But when Moto is gonna deliver those updates,it's still not clear & might take a long time.
Btw Edge 50 Pro is teased to have SD 7gen3 by Moto India on their launch page.
Might be result of Moto's inconsistent naming scheme or Moto might be trying to sell vanilla version as Pro to attract customers.

I am disaapointed with Ultra phone using snapdragon 8s gen3 instead of 8 gen3. I had high hopes for this. even the battery is lower Mah. WTF ???
