That being said, it's unclear which Galaxy Z Fold6 we're talking about here.

Ehrm, slightly thinner and lighter, but larger wrt to screen size, battery capacity, and camera module perhaps? Of course, I know I'm likely to loose to the thinner! Thinner!! THINNER!!!! crowd and their viral hipster marketing campaigning, but so far I haven't heard a single good argument for why keeping phones, phablets and foldables at +/- 250gr and cram as much technology&quality is such a bad idea.

      •19.5:9 outer screen | ✅
      •6.3" outer screen | ✅
      •8.0" inner screen | ❌
      •Dual ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensors | ❌
•Thinner bezels on both screens, especially for the outer
      screen's metal bezel | ✅ + ❌
      •At least a 5500mAh battery | ❌
•Smaller gap between the two slabs so that the phone is as thin
      as the competition | ❌, considering that (5.6mm × 2) + 0.5mm
      = 11.7mm and Samsung's is rumoured to be 12.6mm
•Better cameras | ✅, but not good enough for me, should at
      least be:
      ✓50 MP, f/1.4-f/4.0 (1024-step), 26mm (wide), 1/1.12"-type,
1.4μm, Octa Pixel multi-directional PDAF, Laser AF, OIS
      [basically improved Samsung ISOCELL GN2]
      ✓50 MP, f/1.4-f/4.0 (1024-step), 13mm (ultrawide), 1/2.0"-type,
0.8μm, Octa Pixel multi-directional PDAF, macro support
      [Sony LYT-600]
      ✓50MP, f/2.0, 78mm (periscope telephoto), 1/2.0"-type, 0.8μm,
Octa Pixel multi-directional PDAF, OIS, macro support, 3×
      optical zoom [Sony LYT-600]
      ✓50MP, f/2.8, 130mm (periscope telephoto, 1/2.51"-type,
0.7μm, Octa Pixel multi-directional PDAF, OIS, macro
support, 5× optical zoom [Sony IMX858]
•S-Pen support on the inner screen | ❌
      •Curved sides and frame | ❌
      •Rounded corners | ❌
•Faster wired and wireless charging | ❌, has been a problem
with most Western brands for a while
      •IP68 rating | ❌ (*sigh*...)
•460+ppi for both screens | ❌ for both of them

They have no choice but to move closer to competitors who do much better. Pitiful! Without Chinese competitors, there'd still be that ugly space when it's folded, and it'd still be a thick, heavy brick for years to come! Shame on Samsung!

              Lighter and thinner only?
How about way better than previous?

Crazy how honor magic V2 was released last year but still better on a design standpoint...

Give it a Spen slot and a bigger battery then we'll talk

Vivo is bigger and much lighter than that

                      also substantially fragiler ? It's a Samsung

22:9, wow. So close, yet still not there. Why not just go with 21:9 and brag that it's a cinematic aspect ratio? Like seriously such a lost opportunity, much more usable and easily marketable than the goofy ahh 22:9 aspect ratio they have lined up.

Also, remember bros, the Fold6 is lighter than the Open but with smaller battery (unless they increase it) and worse cameras. The direct competitor to the Fold6 in terms of hardware is the Vivo X Fold3, the X Fold3 Pro is a tier higher.

Samsung should really sell the Fold6 at 1200 dollars and have a Fold6 Pro at the current price they have, idk sell the base Fold6 with Exynos or something. But well their greed won't allow them too see these huge opportunities.

An actually usable aspect ratio when closed is a must for me. I can work with probably many different aspect ratios and screen real estates when opened, but I need a sensible one handed usage. I gave up on the Fold5 cos of the terrible cover display.

Also, for the love of god, S pen needs to work on front screen too

Samsung need more upgrade, need 5700mAh no small 4700mAh 😁
