Spotify plans to raise prices this year and introduce new plans

Last year's price hike worked out very well for the company, so why not do it again?

On my computer, i don't need to pay - i just use an ad-blocker and professional sound processing. That way i have high fidelity audio (With full frequency spectrum up to 20k khz) with no ads without paying (And without pirating. Ad blocking is not piracy). On my phone i don't really use it, but i do have a modded version installed just in case. With 30K+ songs in my collection, there's no way i'm paying a random greedy company anything.

      get a nice SD, download high quality songs and play for lifetime without any disturbance.
      i have 256 GB SD and 112GB of TRANCE and 2G of songs. i don't use any online music app shits. i enjoy offline and nothing to worry about.
      spotify is not part of your life and if u make it as a part then u better look for better things.

      offline is best and nothing can beat that 😁

          Instead of raising prices, they should fire their finance department for that $200,000,000 Joe Rogan atrocity. I can't look at the platform the same since then.

            I play my songs downloaded off the web.
            And i discover new songs trough social media, like "Soaked by Shy Smith"

                                    A cost effective way is to use a VPN for a cheap country like Pakistan for example, sign up for premium as if you were in Pakistan. Pay probably like $2 a month.

                                        price rises for shareholders are expected, but as long as I get choice which does not include audiobooks then fine.
                                        I mean nowadays it should really be a full on pick and mix for all these streaming platforms, d you want audiobooks Y/N
                                        Do you want ads Y/N
                                        Do you want a fair usage policy i.e X amount of GB per month used?
                                        What streaming quality do you prefer?

                                        I mean the list is endless, but you can really fine tune the spotify you personally need not what options are simply offered, you could have tariffs from as cheap as a few $$ per month all the way up to the full premium experience, this would also cater to developing countries who the west usually subsidises, they can pay for their own content at the quality and level THEY can afford, not what we can pay for.
