NeonHD, 04 Apr 2024Nice, though this feels like a rebirth of Google now on tap. It’s the manual version of Now on Tap.

I hope Samsung will use own Bixby Vision as Circle to search replacement (at least as option). I use Bixby Vision quite often and it's actually pretty good. But works only as camera feature and not for on-display stuff. So, I wish they do this, I'd use it quite a lot.

For that you have search engines like Tineye. When you circle and search a cat photo, it probably tries to find the "best" (paying) information sources for that.
I've tried it a bit and it seems quite accurate for me. For instance, to quick find info on a spokesperson in a news clip.

Circle to search is awful. I "circle to search" a photo of a cat that I downloaded from the internet and Google couldn't even find that same photo. What the hell? Instead it displayed 300 other vaguely similar cat photos of which the original was nowhere to be found. I could just as well search for a "orange cat" and get same useless results.

Don't worry about circle translate. First, make your google translate translate. It doesn't work. I have tried many times. It fails 99% of the time.
It may seem like it works to people who speaks one language. They press translate and see some gibberish results and they think; Oh look it tranlated!
I recommend the developers to learn another language first, and then make software.
