CamoGeko-XDA, 06 Apr 2024Lol does anybody actually buy these phones, all I see is pe... moreActually I did buy the phone truly it's a good phone for playing games or a daily use. Actually I had many phones but I rather use this one for my daily use. If you don't like the brand go somewhere else. don't put your hatred here for something they're trying to innovated for they customer. If you don't like brand or jealous bout it go somewhere else to brag your sorry ass. People like you won't move forward if still bragging bout others still thinking you're the best thing in this world. Simple solution for you from me, don't like other brands go make your own phone and see if your phone can hit the market. Have a nice day.

AnonD-512010, 04 Apr 2024Till when will they keep using Mediatek Helio G99. There ar... moreI don't really see anything wrong about G99. People keep complaining that vendors are keep using G99 again and again, but does the G99 itself have a good replacement? 4G chipset is still needed to keep the cost way lower while keeping some other features. Snapdragon 685 is surely NOT a good replacement. Not even close.
This is a different condition when we compare to the 695 one back then in 2022. At that time, 6 Gen 1 is already existed as a (not so good) replacement. Or Dimensity 810 if you go for MediaTek.

I thought it's for about... morethat is still relatively huge...
other phones with significantly bigger batteries (than that) already caters to no avuraj consumers... thus "significantly" heavier and bigger (obviously) than most phones

OSasmatteroffact, 04 Apr 2024The trio transsion have been using the G99 for a decade now... moreLike the Helio series is dead for years already with Dimensity replacing them but these OEMs somehow still use it. Reminds me of how SD695 was used for 80% of low midrange in 2021-2023.

I always do that. I also sent some updates to Camon 30, like confirming the amount of RAM and internal storage of some phones.
I found info Pova 6 Neo and Pova 6 by a chance, I was looking for older (2013-2015) digital cameras. Then some spam showed Camon 30 and Pova 6 Pro and since Camon 30 has a Sony sensor, that might be the only relation. I ended visiting Tecno website and there was the remaining Pova phones, silently and unannounced.
