The camera visor looks smaller than the one on the standard Pixel 8.

It will even be possible to find a Pixel 8 on special offer for less than the price of the 8A.
No point.

GPRS8601, 05 Apr 2024I've heard rumors that Google may get rid of the A ser... moreOh yeah, I remember hearing that. It sounds especially likely if Google is introducing the 9 Pro XL. I don't see it producing and supporting four new phones annually.
I've stuck with Pixels largely due to the great cameras and stock android. However, I don't like the chip, battery life or the slow charging.
My current strategy is using my Edge 30 Fusion as my main phone and using my 6a for photos. I take most of my photos at home anyway. If I have a special event, I can either bring both phones or stick my sim card in the 6a.

I'm surprised that the 8a leaks haven't started already. We're probably only a month away from the announcement.
I'm really hoping it gets faster charging like the 8. It's a bit too rounded in appearance though. I think the 9a will be the one to go for (if the 9/9 Pro leaks are anything to go by).

Would be a cool way to tease the 8a. But tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually just an old 3D model they didn't update
