-titanium frame but no significant weight reduction to avoid damage during fall.
-Armor Glass which is only more scratch resistant but not more shatter resistant.
and samsung will ask you 200 bucks just to repair a glass, Very good.

It was famous but reason why this type of glass aint used anymore even i dont know.
I dont stand behind Motorola company i am not their CEO nor manager or part of the leading people in this brand.
But honbestly had that glass on my phone and from my own experience i can say it was the best glass any phone could get.

1. How is it famous, if it were sold far less number than Samsung phone. Motorola Z series had this type of glass it was since 2013 up to 2015 i think. Compared to your desired samsung this lass never breaks no matter the damage. Samsung cant compete because glass is glass and glass breaks and in case of Samsung or Apple is very costly.
2. I dont think its famous, because this is the first time i heard that motorola type of glass.
I am here on theses pages for like 9 or 10 years and i am a motorola user so i should know. No other brand had it. You can google for it or see some youtube videos. No GG victus or apple ceramic shield or how they call it can compete. Noscreen protector will helps. Shatterrpoof glass were best. Second after than is a Vertu with their real Shapphire glass made screen and then Ashai dragonglass.

I wonder if that tech is patented by Samsung or Corning. If it is Corning, than I think Iphone will have in no way. Otherwise, Samsung can use that to make more sells. I just got a S24U that screen is just AWESOME. Nothing compares to it.

I remember people always complaining about curved screens and their reflectiins on the edges.
Now Samsung decides to go back to flat screens and brings anti-reflective glass.

Those phones are among the best you can buy. They can last as much at their batteries will. Every year refresh is a fan thing, that costs unreasonably much.
I did it with S23U and S24U, just because found S24U in bargain and had someone to gift S23U, but the differences are really minor. They cannot reasonably explain the cost.
But with those 7 years updates you can squeeze every most of the cost out of this device, as soon as you can find a battery replacement. (Still an average person could survive with a phone at 1/3 the cost).
