I ask you a question.
What would you buy a flagship grade SD 8 gen 3 powered phone but with midranger or low end other specs.
Or the opposite. Flagship grade specs but with top end midranger CPU which is 7 gen 3s.
What you would pick???
Poco F1 of the odl times were a phone for 360 euros and had best possible CPu of that time but came with other specs below average but people bought anyway because of price.
This is the same.
Phone is great and pure android experience is best.

So for 700 you will buy a phone for one use. Without charger it dies when your battery die.
I am also not happy from that pricing but at least it offers lot better specs apart the CPU and GPU it offers more ram, more endurance, better cameras, charging speeds, screen and many else. Its a flagship phone with upper midranger CPU.
Unlike some other phones which had flagship CPU but mediocre specs.
poco F1 of the old times were good example. Some one plus series are also a good example.

this thing should be priced as the Edge 40 Neo that it truly replaces. Not as the Edge 40 Pro.
in india , the 12/256 it was announced as 36000ir/399€
so going to Europe & 512gb makes it 75% more expensive ?! ... Absolutely nauseating.

Rebranded MiUI is gonna nerf 8g3 at level of 8+g1.
Larger screen, larger battery.
Edge 50 Ultra does not try to be "iphone with android", that is huge bonus.
