You mentioned yourself: no gap and a much better battery life.
The cover display of Fold 3 was much narrower, and really not useable.
And its inner screen was noticeably less squarish which I liked more.
But Fold 5’s is much brighter and tougher (no need for the retractable S Pen anymore).
And you have the huge camera upgrade. In addition, you have a better UDC and it is 18 gram lighter.
The crease is noticeably better, and the protective layer of the inner screen is just durable now.
With the new S Pen cover the Fold 5 is not much thicker than Fold 3 without the cover.
Tell me know what was wrong in saying that there is a huge difference between Fold 3 and Fold 5?

For me the battery and the no gap are the only differences. Hell the inner screen of the z fold 3 is better kkkkk
The rest is negligible at best.
I have the 3, 4 and 5 as well.
Trading in for the Oneplus Open.

Let us look at the potential differences between Fold 5 and Fold 6 based on my experiences with Fold 3, 4 and 5 and based on the leaks so far:
- The cover screen display will be 3 mm wider. It is significant as long as you don’t use a case.
- The inner screen will become slightly “more squarish”. Not too much, but for me it goes into the wrong direction. But you can’t have both wider cover screen and less squarish inner screen.
- Fold 6 will be thinner, but not relevant for me because the current one is already thin enough.
- As the device gets lighter, and the cameras remain at the same place, it will become less balanced in Flex Mode. I would be surprised if it was still possible to open it beyond 170 degree without swinging around the hinge.
- The battery life will be better even if the battery size remains the same.
- It will be brighter (but would dim quickly under the sun).
- The cover screen will be antireflexive and the protective layer of the inner screen will be also antireflexive (very important).

After Marques damaged his Z, it threw the trajectory of foldable sales and it has fallen short of yearly projections ever since.
Samsung's focus is where it matters the most. That is building consumer confidence in the Z line by making them more robust. We see a major difference in the Z5 vs. the prior generations and they will likely build on that with the Z6.

The only photos I take using the phone are product specs and photos that I down-size to 960px and send to my suppliers. anything more than a 1MP camera would have been overkill. What I care for, is reliability. A phone that would work all the time. dependable.

Also S Pen slot won't happen, otherwise you people would cry about worse thermals and battery which would be result of using already limited space for that.
