Oh my God those Bezels are so 2014! Along with the portable heater that the Tensor G3 is who on earth is going to buy this monstrosity. It's DOA in my opinion

In the "budget" and "mid" segment, things - hardware / software / design - are TERRIBLE 😱, and the prices of the "flagships" long ago took off into space, and are currently traveling to the Moon and Mars ... 😒.

Those bezels look even larger than the bezels of the Pixel 7a, so either this is entirely fake, just a prototype, or another huge flop phone.

Pixel Xa use to be more compact phone with like 5.8inch screen while still stay small phone in the bezel era. But now it looks like it be the Samsung Galaxy A4x series that basically was great as A40 a compact size and budget price then with A41 it got bigger and then onwards with A42 got even more bigger to the size like the rest of the A series and then it got canceled cause it lost it's point

I'm totally okay with large bezels, since phones these days are already way too big so a thin bezel doesn't really make much of a difference
What I really care about, is a smaller display. Bigger bezels are fine, but my fingers can't reach every corners of a huge screen so thin bezels are useless in that case

Finally its happening, Major manufacturers starting to cut down the looks of midrangers(bezels) to make them less appealing and sell flagships more
Case in point being Pixel 7 and 7A, Samsung s23 and S23FE/A55
Specs in case of Chinese phones...lower wattage charging/cameras/software support as in oneplus 12R, iqoo 9 pro,Vivo V series
It seems that smartphone space has really plateaued and the manufacturers have started to artificially make their flagships look like the better value :-(

The only reason to buy a Pixel was the (relative) affordability. Otherwise, they can't compete with Apple or Samsung. Their phones lag like crazy, heats like crazy and the software experience is still not as polished as Samsung or Apple, it doesn't have features like DeX and all.
I doubt if they can cover all these shortcomings with AI and camera
