Google should acquire Nothing & keep their brand alive, the same way Apple acquired Beats & kept selling Beats. Nothing pays more attention to design than Google does in their pixel phones. (Fun fact: Google Ventures have already raised $15 Million in funding)

Hopefully another version of the ear stick comes in the future too. It's good to have options that aren't in-ear.

Why are the (a) so expensive? I bought my Ear (1) two years ago for 70€ on amazon. Now the "affordable" entry is more expensive? Makes total sense.

Dual device pairing is good. I would sooner buy the Sony WF-C700N though.
