The IP69 feature would make much sense if Oppo covered the warranty for water damage. If Oppo doesn't, then it wouldn't make much sense to have it in the first place. I used to be a huge advocate for IP68/69 ratings on phones until I learned the depressing fact that pretty much no smartphone brand ever covers the warranty for any water-related damages. It makes you wonder why they wasted the R&D money for such a thing if that's the outcome.

It would probably get rebranded into Oneplus or Realme with some minor design changes when it enters Global

can t... moreLike i said million times before almost every phone can withstand few raindrops and no phone can survive seawater.
This is the same IP69 is nothing but gimmick where cheaper option like waterproof case does lot more tricks for lot less money and protects even against sea water .

Really happy about that IP69. I always wanted to pressure wash my phone. While making a call, right next to my ear, so I can get the earwax out at the same time. Gonna save some time.

It dont comes with MIL-STD810G or something. Its just a shitty water resistance which is completely useless because litterary ever phone can survive few rain drops and even this phone user cant swim with it in sea.

Oppo’s new A3 Pro is the latest midrange offering from the manufacturer and it brings an impressive mix of specs including a curved 120Hz OLED display, 67W charging and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. This means A3 Pro can withstand high-pressure water jets (up to 100 bar), steam cleaning, and water submersions for half an hour.
And yet it cant survive even 10 seconds in salt sea water an useless upgrade which any waterproof case bought on alliexpress does far more tricks for like 2 bucks.
Also it comes with useless 2mpix macro cam and only 8Mpix front camera.
Mixing a midranger specs with a low cost budget device for price of 250-350 euros is really bad idea.
