I just reject Motorola and their choice of processors. I just cannot imagine buying a moto , given they would only give 2 future OS updates.

What a joke: Motorola Edge 50 Fusion gets the LG treatment: worldwide gives the better version except LATAM. What a joke.

Fusion with better main cam than pro.
        Congrats !!

349 euro? What a big joke.
Just get the Nothing Phone 2a.

Why does South/Latin America get a worse chipset? 6 Gen 1 is A chipset. That's all I'll say about it. It isn't fair they pay more and get less. Lenovo is trying to ruin Motorola.

xfrqnx, 16 Apr 2024why different chipset for Latam?PROFIT!!!!....there are consumers in Latam willing to pay the same amount of money for the same phone with better SoC in Europe...

                ..another garbage phone from Motorola...

David 040882, 16 Apr 2024What's Motorola doing with the Edge 50 series? The Pro... moreIt has something to do with inflation. Massive inflation in recent years really made the Euro currency lose its value. That's why European people are getting low specs devices with questionable pricing. 1000€ for an 8s gen 3 which performance the same as 8g2 while the ISP and other factors got downgraded is insane.

I wonder if card notification is fixed already.
That would be the development of the century

                      That difference is really big.

                        why different chipset for Latam?

What's Motorola doing with the Edge 50 series? The Pro has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and asks for about $600-$700, thr Ultra had the 8s Gen 3, not even the 8 Gen 3, and asks for about €1000. The fusion has the 7s Gen 2 with the LATAM model using the 6 Gen 1 at a price where the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is adequate, the one used by the Pro at nearly double the price. Fusion should've been called Neo. A bit of a mess, don't see them making many sells out of the Edge 50s

Wow this is such a perfect phone! Oh my God!

Motorola is perfect! Nobody is like them!

                            Mototola 1 : everybody else 0

                              Not launching in India?

"Edge 50 Fusion units sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa feature a 144Hz refresh rate display and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset while the Latin America model gets a 120Hz panel and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC"

But obviously Latin America gonna pay more for worse device. Same way Europe pay more for worse Galaxy S compared to USA.

It's great phone, that doesn't seem to know what it is, if this was called Motorola Edge 50 Neo, it would make sense. I know it's just a name, but it doesn't make any sense.

As for its 6 Gen 1 version, and the whole "using a different SoC for different countries" situation, it's a joke, it's awful and it needs to be stopped.

Good phone, but weak procesor. Sd 7 gen 3 would be adequate soc for this phone.

A Sony sensor? What happened to OmniVision? This is an interesting development. Let's see if Motorola has got the processing right.

This is a good midrange. I would highly consider buying it. (From US)

Personally I don't mind a reduction in cpu power for affordability.
The rage is now cameras and snappy phone that doesn't freeze, lag, or heat up. Yes?
